The homeowners’ foremost desire of this remodel was for a simple update of the existing kitchen. While the original layout and flow of the kitchen was functional, the space lacked a reflection of the family that lived there. With simple finish updates and rethinking the island to incorporate a more family appropriate eat-in area, the revised design provided a nice gathering space for all occasions, formal or informal. By adding taller cabinets to the work space, it became a more functional family “hub center.” The white cabinets, quartz countertops and hardwood floors offered a timeless and enduring appeal that will follow this family through growth and change throughout the years.
